I haven't blogged for several years, but I've got the itch to again. This blog shall probably mostly contain various writing experiments that I want to put somewhere, odd bits of non-fiction and perhaps other things. I'm not sure yet. I may also discuss various personal artistic projects I am working on, though I have found in the past that this mostly serves as an excellent way of procrastinating. However, it is probably good for me in some way, and may inspire me to do some more 'serious' work. About me: I am a young artist from the UK. I chiefly work as a speculative illustrator, cartoonist and portraitist under the name DS Blake, and more occasionally I produce artist's books under my real name (Simon Cardew).
